Bananas

Known for its therapeutic property since many generations, lemons help to strengthen your immune system, cleanse your stomach, and it is considered a blood purifier.

Mangoes

Mango leaves help normalize insulin levels in the blood. The traditional home remedy involves boiling leaves in water, soaking through the night and then consuming the filtered decoction in the morning. Mango fruit also has a relatively low glycemic index so moderate quantities will not spike your sugar levels.

Guavas

Due to the rich fiber content and low glycemic index, guavas prevent the development of diabetes. While the low glycemic index inhibits a sudden spike in sugar levels, the fiber content ensures the sugar levels are well regulated. Guavas are rich in Vitamin A

Papayas

Papayas are rich in fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants that prevent cholesterol build up in your arteries. Too much cholesterol build-up can block the arteries completely, causing a heart attack. Papaya extracts have also found to reduce lipid and triglycerides in diabetic rats.

Pomegranates

Laboratory studies have shown that pomegranate extract can slow down cancer cell reproduction, and even induce apoptosis (cell death) in cancer cells. Pomegranate extract has been shown to inhibit reproduction of breast cancer cells, and may even kill some of them.

Indian Pineapple

The pineapple is one of the important commercial fruit crops of India. Pineapple is grown abundantly in the North-East region, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar, Goa, and Maharashtra. The total annual production of pineapple is projected to be 14.6 million tonnes. With an annual output of 1.2 million tonnes, India is the fifth-largest producer of Pineapple in the world. India shares 8.2% of the world’s total pineapple production.

The Pineapple season in India in key pineapple-producing states such as Meghalaya, Kerala, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, and others is from July to December. Kew, Mauritius and queen are also the most cultivated varieties of pineapple in Tamilnadu.  

Indian Jackfruit

Jackfruit is a fruit from the family of Moraceae. It may be green or yellow in color with yellow pulps inside.The jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus), also known as the jack tree,[7] is a species of tree in the figmulberry, and breadfruit family (Moraceae). Its origin is in the region between the Western Ghats of southern India, all of BangladeshSri Lanka, and the rainforests of the PhilippinesIndonesia, and Malaysia.The jackfruit tree is well-suited to tropical lowlands and is widely cultivated throughout tropical regions of the world. It bears the largest fruit of all trees, reaching as much as 55 kg (120 pounds) in weight,90 cm (35 inches) length, and 50 cm (20 inches) in diameter. A mature jackfruit tree produces some 200 fruits per year, with older trees bearing up to 500 fruits in a year.[8][9] The jackfruit is a multiple fruit composed of hundreds to thousands of individual flowers, and the fleshy petals of the unripe fruit are eaten.The ripe fruit is sweet (depending on variety) and is commonly used in desserts. Canned green jackfruit has a mild taste and meat-like texture that lends itself to being called “vegetable meat”.

Jackfruit is commonly used in South and Southeast Asian cuisines.Both ripe and unripe fruits are consumed. It available internationally, canned or frozen, and in chilled meals, as are various products derived from the fruit, such as noodles and chips.
